Lesson 1: Preparing for shooting, camera interface
A trivial thought to start with. Wipe down your camera before you start each of your shoots. A lot of people forget. Let’s go to the camera interface.
Lesson 2: The magic of exposure in a photo
Now I’m going to tell you about the magic of exposure in photography. This is the most key tool in photography, which directly affects the style of photos you love, which you see on my Instagram profile. Not a single one of my photo shoots is without it. I’m going to show you how to really use exposure correctly in your iPhone camera.
Lesson 3: The process of taking a photo
In this lesson I will show the process of shooting a photo with a real model. And at the end of the video, I will show you what kind of photos we got.
Lesson 4: Photo colour grading
In this lesson I will show my unique colour grading technique on four different photos. I will tell you about all the nuances of dark processing. And you will also get a bonus video lesson on how to apply the colour grading to other photos taken in the same series.
In the first video we’ll go through the process of processing an image with a crystal white piece of clothing shot outdoors.
In the second video, we’ll take apart a black outfit shot in sunny weather with direct rays. We will even out the strong contrast that appeared in the photo.
Let’s take a picture as an example. taken in rainy weather in a grey outfit.
In the process of creating the course, the Lightroom update came. And it changed the interface a little bit. For me, the old one was more convenient. So this lesson will be with the updated Lightroom interface.
I decided to show you the process of processing the photo, which was in the lesson on the magic of exposure.
In the bonus video lesson, I’d like to share how I apply the colour grading I’ve done to the rest of the photos selected for a post on IG or for use in Reels.
Lesson 5: Detailed photo colour correction
In this tutorial, I will tell you how to make colour corrections of separate details on a photo. The essence of the method is that we prepare several layers of one photo, make colour correction for each layer, and then glue all layers into one photo.
This is a brand new method that I have started to use on my photos. Once you have mastered this technique, you will be able to remove colours from your photo in detail, leaving only the colours you need.
There are 3 applications used in the lesson:
- LightRoom (Colour correction)
- Magic Eraser (Cut out the elements in the photo)
- Picsart (Merge the resulting layers into one photo)
Lesson 6. Preparing photos for posting
In this lesson I will tell you why I shoot photos in 16:9 format. I will also show you how I prepare photos for Instagram posts.
