👋 Welcome to the “Dark Aesthetics Ambassador” online course—your trusted guide to the world of strong visuals on Instagram! My name is Max, known by the nickname @uixmax on IG, and I’m a → digital designer and content maker.⚡ I’ve put together a concentrate of practical knowledge for you to pump up your vision and dig deep into the mysteries of dark style content creation. ⤵︎
My experience in shooting and processing content on Instagram will not only allow you to master the ins and outs of mobile photography but also give you exclusive insights on how to create stylish content.
What makes this course special? “Dark Aesthetics Ambassador” is the first international online product on dark aesthetics style shooting available in two languages – Russian and English. We are creating a community united by a common passion for dark aesthetics, and together we will promote its beauty around the world on Instagram.

Lesson 1: Which iPhone is suitable for filming?
What to shoot content on and what I shoot on. What phone models are suitable for shooting photos and videos now?
At the time of writing this course, I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max to shoot with.
But before that I had an iPhone 11 Pro Max and had been shooting with it for just over a year since I started my IG profile. It shoots great, and it’s the latest model, which has balanced colour reproduction; anything newer whitens the picture a lot, but the quality is better.
So, which devices are suitable for taking pictures? I recommend only iPhones and only the Pro or Pro Max series. In order to capture a quality picture, you need to buy a minimum of an iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max.
Why Pro/Pro Max? Because it has three camera units, and all of them are very necessary, and I always use them. And it also has a big screen; it’s convenient for me to process photos and do video editing.
To summarize, to take pictures, you only need an iPhone from the Pro or Pro Max range, from model 11 to 16.
Lesson 2: What apps you need to download
I’ve compiled a list for you of all the apps you need to create content. I use each one personally. Right now, I recommend downloading all the apps on the list to your iPhone.
Telegram—The best messenger in the world, which has already become a full-fledged social network. We will use it to store personal files, download content from Instagram, and prepare our future posts for free. It is free to use. Download App
CapCut—top app for editing and colour grading your videos. It is the one I create my Reels in. Free to use. Download App
Lightroom—No photo colour grading is complete without this app. A professional tool that every content creator should have. It is free to use. Download App
TouchRetouch—the best app for removing unwanted objects and people in a photo. The algorithms with artificial intelligence do a great job. I use this app all the time. In some countries it is not available for download. But there is a way to download; for this, you need to change the region in the App Store application. This information can be easily found on the Internet. There is a fee to use it. Download App
Photoshop Express—In this app, you can do photo cleanup of unnecessary junk and distracting artifacts. Who couldn’t download TouchRetouch? Download this app. It’s free to use. Download App
FaceTune—Facial Retouching App. Huge personal admonition to you, especially girls: don’t do soapy skin face; it looks horrible! Try to do minimal retouching to keep it natural. There are free tools you need. Download App
Magic Eraser—An app to remove the background from a photo. There is a free plan. Download App
Peachy—You can get body or face plastic surgery and photo enlargement in this app. There is a free plan. Download App
Inpreview—The best app for visually planning your Instagram profile feed. There is a free plan for one account. Download app
PicsArt—This is a powerful all-in-one Photoshop-type application. I personally use it to combine multiple layers into one photo. There is a free plan; it is enough for me. Download app
AirBrush—the app where you can do skin retouching—is very cool. And the most useful thing that I use is that in it you can make your skin tone more attractive (to simply make a tan). There is a free version, but I recommend buying it for a year. Download app InShot— It’s really cool to make photo collages in this app. Convenient, functional, and free. Download app
